HEALTHLINE:    Steve Saj (204 Squire Court) is going to have a Catheterization on Thursday, June 8. We will pray and hope for the best.   Joe Spears‘ (199 Squire Court) sister died. Joe went north for the funeral. Cards may be sent to his home. He will be back here on June 20.

CONDOLENCES:    Our deepest sympathy to Virginia Lambacher (304 Ave of Dukes) and family on the death of her husband and their father. The memorial services were held at Grace Bible Church on Tuesday, June 6. A donation was sent to the Church from Kings Gate Club.

JOYCE PARRY:    We extend to Joyce our Best Wishes on her retirement. She will be missed as Administrative Assistant, as well as a friend. Joyce will always be a Kings Gater, and “one of us!” In the fall we will be planning an appreciation event in her honor. —–The Round Table

On June 2nd Joyce Parry, our club administrative assistant, tended her resignation, it takes effect two weeks from that date. Joyce has been with us 12 years. Her excellent work, lovely smile, and gracious manner will be greatly missed. Our best wishes go with you Joyce. —–Mary Brewer

BRIDGE:    Wednesday contract bridge cancelled for the summer. Will resume Wednesday, Sept. 6. —–Tess and Lucille

YOURE INVITED:    Would you like to go to the Roaring 20s Restaurant on Thursday, June 29 to eat and to hear the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ? Doors open at 4:30; music starts at 5:00 . Plan to arrive shortly before 4:30. The menu includes Pizza, Sandwiches, Spaghetti, Salad Bar, and Ice Cream.

Its a 35 - 45 minute drive north on I-75 to Exit 43, turn left, pass traffic light, Roaring 20s is on the left approximately mile east of I-75 at 6750 North U.S. 301, phone 941-723-1733. Dick Bartlett suggested some of you might want to check out the Igloo Ice Skating Rink at the same exit. He said it is an interesting place and its free to watch.
