HEALTHLINE: Florence Gray, wife of Tom Gray who lived at 163 Duchess, has had several serious operations but she is now recuperating. Cards would be appreciated. You may send them care of Peg Carroll at 1003 Grant Rd. Philadelphia, PA.19115.
DEAR KING'S GATERS: A million thanks for the wonderful shower of well wishes through cards, gifts, letters, e-mails, phone calls, and drop-by visits. Your kindness is extremely heartwarming, and as I look forward to being "retired," it is with mixed emotions. To say that I will miss you all is, of course, an understatement. It has been my pleasure to know you and to work for King's Gate. Thanks for the memories . . . . . . . . . . . Joyce Parry
THANKS: My family and I would like to express our appreciation for the support and caring extended by the Kings Gate "Family" at our time of loss. Thank you for your prayers and consideration. --Virginia Lambacher
CONGRATULATIONS: Paul and Joann Lemonds's 45th Wedding Anniversary is today. --Ella Heath
JUNE LUNCHEON: Girls and guys: Our June Luncheon will be at Buddy's Pizza on June 22nd at 12:00 noon. Buddy's is located on Venice Avenue at Pinebrook. Please sign up on the sheet on the board. --Joann Lemonds, 484-7692
FATHERS' DAY: Today we celebrate all Fathers so our coffee and pastries are being paid for by the Round Table - for the fathers. As it was on Mothers' Day, they are free only for those being honored. So - it's time for the ladies to dig in their purses and add to the pot.
