HEALTHLINE :
—– Ginny Henry (211 Castle Dr.) came home from the Rehab on Saturday.  Her two grand-daughters are taking her back to Lexington, Kentucky, Wednesday, August 30 where she will continue her rehab.  She asked me to thank everyone for all their cards and good wishes.  Her address in Kentucky is:   Dr. David L. Cowen, 617 Centennial Lane, Lexington, KY 40502.
—– Mary Lou Richmond, 210 Castle Dr. is doing well after her knee replacement.  Cards and prayers would be appreciated but no visitors until later.
—– Jack Hedegore, 91 King Arthur Dr., is arriving home from Ruthīs memorial on Thursday, August 31
—– Eileen Hawks, 269 Camelot, was taken to the hospital by Ron on Monday.  She is undergoing tests.   Hopefully Ron will be able to bring her home tomorrow.  Your prayers would be appreciated.
—– This is just a reminder that if you have any Health Line news for the next three weeks, please call Patty Ray at 484-8078 as I will be in Michigan.   —– Jane Haggerty, 480-1655.

FLU CLINIC:   Flu shots will be given Nov. 13, 2000.   Time to be announced later.  Sign up sheet will be put up Sept. 1, 2000.  Pneumonia shots will be available also.    —– Eleanor Gregory

TIME TO VOTE:   First Primary, September 5, 2000.  Location –  Stay-N-Play RV Resort.  Polls are open 7 AM – 7 PM.  Address 899 Knights Trail Rd., Nokomis.   Florida Law requires voters to show picture, as well as signature ID.   Please be prepared to present your Florida Driverīs License or some form of picture I.D.   No voters are turned away.  If you do not have a signature and photo with you, you will be required to fill out an affirmation form.  See you at the polls.  —— Mary Brewer

BRIDGE:    Itīs that time again!!    Welcome all bridge players, seasoned and beginners.   Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 6th – 1 P.M. in the hall.   Be sure to bring your quarter donation for prizes and pennies in case you donīt make your bid!  —— Lucille S.

     VIP World Travel has invited KGC to a showing of the new ship, Holland Americanīs “AMSTERDAM” on October 28, 2000.  Lunch will be served on the H/A Westerdam docked next door.  KGC has been assigned one bus (limit 44) to join a caravan of 6 buses to Miami.   $20 per person.   Call VIP 377-0017 or 1-800-323-7448 – keyword:  “KGC/Amsterdam 10/28,” - or pay Nip by check to VIP.  If we have over 44 then they will be wait-listed or put on another bus if space
