DON´T FORGET Our Ice Cream Social tomorrow, the 10th, from 1 to 3 PM. Come over and make you own ice cream sundae with all the fixings.
Mary Lou Richmond, 210 Castle Drive, had her knee replaced on Saturday and six days later she came home. She´s doing very well, would like company, but please call first.
Ray Grimme, 187 Camelot Drive, had a mild heart attack last Sunday. He is in Venice Hospital, and was scheduled for a heart catheterization last Wednesday. Cards may be sent to his home.
Mike Munavish, 54 King Arthur Drive, is very ill. Please send cards to uplift his spirits: 165 Stewart Street, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. (Postage to Canada is 55 cents.)
a) Many thanks to Betty Ulbricht, Patty and George Ray, and Tom Conway for helping with our Labor Day picnic at the Club. Thirty-two Kings Gate ex-laborers were present, and, as usual, our varied covered dishes were delicious. Mark your calendar for our next picnicat the Jetty on October 12th.
b) Art Carlson requests that newsletter announcements be left at his home no later than Wednesdays.
1) Bingo Chairman. John Soroka is retiring. Thanks from all of us, John, for all your many years of service to this Club. This activity has been enjoyed by so many! We know you want Bingo to continue and it will IF we have a chairman. It can start next month. We´re awaiting a volunteer(s).
2) Kitchen supplies chairperson. Mary Saunders is retiring. Time for someone new to assume this responsibility. Mary will be glad to help a new chairperson get started. Thanks, Mary, for your years devoted to this Club. Gigi, RT Chairperson, 488-7810.
