ATTENTION: All friends of Ruby and Bill Surface. There will be a going away breakfast for Bill and Ruby Surface on October 5th at 8:30 AM. Don Moriarty: Thank you for so diligently keeping track of our Park History since it´s beginning. These many volumes will soon be available for all membersold and newto enjoy. We have come a long way.
Loretta Brian: A gold star to you for volunteering as Kitchen Supplies Chairperson! We appreciate your caring and willingness to keep our busy activities supplied and running smoothly.
Betty McDonald, Claire Becker, and Sandy Veneman planned a great Ladies luncheon at Ruby Tuesday´s this past week. We thank you for sharing your time and enthusiasm. The fun Butterfly theme, your prizes and general arrangements were enjoyed by 36 KGC ladies. We are glad to have you in our Park´s New Gals!
Pauline Ferguson has volunteered to be Chairperson of Bingo. The first Bingo night will be October 31.
Marilyn Caithness will be the director of the Crafts Group beginning October 5th.
THANK YOU: Rita Orzechowski,163 Duchess Ave., is at home recovering from spinal surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She expresses her thanks and appreciation for the visits, cards, and get-well wishes received.
A NOTE to all my friends at Kings Gate for all the beautiful cards, good food and many visits. My recovery is going along well; I am still in therapy but getting stronger each day. I thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. It´s really special to be remembered as I have been over the past few weeks. Thank you to everyone. Visits are welcome anytime. RON EWING, 281 Queens, passed away up north. He had a massive heart attack.
LUNCHEON AND THRIFT SHOP FASHION SHOW will be on October 12 at 12 noon, by the Treasure Chest, SPARCC, at our Clubhouse. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board. Bring your own place setting and sandwiches or salad, and dessert. Tea and punch will be furnished. Lots of door prizes, food, and fun. We will crown a K.G.C. QUEEN. Any questions? ED HIGGINS came home from the hospital Monday feeling a lot better.
