HEALTHLINE:   Velma Livingood, 200 Squire Court, passed away Saturday PM at Bon Secours Hospital.
Betty Mohr, 88 King Arthur Drive, came home from the hospital Monday afternoon.   She is doing well and would appreciate prayers and cards but no visitors or phone calls yet.

STYLE SHOW REHEARSAL for the style show (SPARCC) Treasure Chest, will be at 11:00 AM at the clubhouse.   Bring everything:   Purse, Jewelry, Shoes, etc. that you will be wearing.
LUNCHEON AND STYLE SHOW   by the Treasure Chest (SPARCC) at 12 noon, at the clubhouse.   Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board.   Bring your own place setting and sandwiches or Salad.    Dessert, tea, and punch will be furnished.    Lots of door prizes, food, fun.    We will crown a K.G.C. JETTY PICNIC:   Oct. 12, 2000.   This will be the first Jetty Picnic of the new season so lets make it a biggie.    Come on over to the North Jetty pavilion, bring a dish to pass, a beverage, your dinner service, and a neighbor.    Its a great time to meet those folks who have stayed here this summer, to greet those who have just come back, and our new members.   Get caught up on the news and have a delicious dinner to boot.   Yes, there is a Ladies Lunch that day, but the guys will be hungry and ready to go to a picnic and sample all the good food we bring by the dinner hour.   We gather at 5 pm and eat at 6.    Stay to watch the sunset and take a stroll on the beach.    See you there.   Please note time change.  —— Jan Rood

CRAFTS:   All crafters and interested women are urged to come to the Crafts meetings on Thursdays at 12:30 PM.   We have fun and share ideas, as we learn.   Now were making items for the Christmas Boutique.   Please note that on Thursday, October 12th, because of the Ladies Lunch, Crafts will meet on Friday, Oct. 13th.   Check with Marilyn Caithness, 484-3096, for the correct time.

KGC TRAVEL:   Last call for “KGC Ladies” trip to Key West, November 7th.   If you have been thinking about it!!  –  it will be too late after October 14th.   So get a roommate and join the other 28 KGC Ladies on this fun 4 day trip.
A NOTE about ELECTION DAY.   As the bus will depart KGC early morning, there will not be time for Florida residents to vote in person.   Please request an absentee ballot  –  492-3060  –  and give them your birth date and last four numbers of your SS.   They will mail the ballot to you.   Or go to South County office and absentee vote in person up to day before election.
This is important  –  vote for your choice  –  but please VOTE.    -    Nip

COMPUTER USERS:   It is very important that ALL residents with a computer or Web TV and Internet access with e-mail, PLEASE keep me informed of your current e-mail address.   Some of you may have had computers for awhile, some are first time computer users, many of you as you return to KGC from the summer break have changed your e-mail address from one up north.   The Computer Group wants your CORRECT e-mail address.   If you have a computer and have NOT received weekly e-mails from me, then I don't have your correct e-mail address.   Please send me your e-mail to nipbar@kgc.cc with a note that you want your current address added to the KGC Computer address book.   Classes will start on October 20th at 10:30 am.
