HEALTH LINE: I am happy to report that Rita Orzechowski (163 Duchess) has graduated from a walker to a cane but she still needs a little more practice. She is grateful for the prayers and cards sent her way.......may they continue. Jane Haggerty 480-1655
CONDOLENCES to the family of Velma Livingood (200 Squire Court) who passed away September 30, 2000 at Bon Secours Hospital in Venice. A memorial will be sent to the American Heart Association in Sarasota.
An E-Mail from Klee Fitze (formerly 153 Duchess) A note to thank our many friends in KGC who sent cards and notes to me during my recent surgery. I have a brand new right knee. I told the surgeon I would not judge the quality of his work for several months, as Dr. Jaquith (Venice) had done such a fine job on my left knee replacement. I am fine, however, and Ruth and I look forward to seeing several KGC folks on Nip´s Thanksgiving trip to the Southeast Caribbean.
THANKS!! For the many prayers, cards, and GOODIES sent to me after surgery. I am doing better each day and hopefully will soon be walking the Park. Justin and I appreciate your care and concern. Betty Mohr
