SHOWTIME REPORT:   Thanks, King's Gaters! Some 130 of you were joined by about 35 neighbors from King's Gate Park in our hall last Wednesday to listen to and marvel at the considerable skills of guitarist JACK PETERSEN. Thank you for your support! Now, look ahead to our next scintillating show…the magnificent offerings of the DITCHFIELD FAMILY Holiday show. It's on Wednesday, December 13th at 7:00 pm. Tickets go on sale next Saturday, December 2, in the Clubhouse. For all KGC newcomers, you owe it to yourselves to be at this one, because it'll put you in a joyous holiday mood! Still only $3!! Last year, we almost filled the hall to capacity, so get your tickets early! Merry Christmas!       The Entertainment Committee

PIZZA AND HORSE RACING PARTY:   I would like to thank all who helped me with this party - my "bookies":    Arlene Herbert, Lucille Anderson, Rose Coffin, Judy Spears, and Jerry Coffin.   Also all the jockeys and all the dice callers.   Special thanks to Bob Froehlich, Angie and Ike Richards and Lois Dievendorf for making coffee, all the cake cutters, and to the people who just got up and helped because the work was there.   It is all of you who make a party a success and easier to run.   See you again in February.     ---Shirley Froehlich
(And our thanks for Shirley for a party which was a great success and much fun.)

THOUGHTS:    Please consider answering in the affirmative if you are approached to run for the Board or the Round Table.   This is also true if you are asked to chair a committee or to work on a committee.    One of the reasons King's Gate Club is such a great place to live is that there are always so many "willing hands" when it comes to volunteering.      --SJB
