LADIES LUNCHEON: Please join us for lunch and tour of Aston Gardens on Thursday, September 18th, 2003 at 12:00 noon. Aston Gardens is a premier senior living community located behind the new Publix's on E. Venice Avenue. We'll have a private dining room, enjoy a delightful lunch prepared by the chef which includes The Bitikar Salad (specialty of Aston Gardens), rolls and butter, dessert, ice tea, lemonade or coffee. The cost is $10.00 including tax, tip and the tour. Payment requested at time of reservation, $10.00 cash or checks made payable to cash. HURRICANE INFORMATION: Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross, Disaster Services will provide a speaker for the Round Table meeting, Saturday, September 20. His name is Mr. Bob Dinwoodie. The thrust of his talk will be to remind everyone that when a hurricane is forecast you must evacuate from mobile homes! Further, he will discuss approved county shelters and the fact that our Clubhouse and other common buildings are not approved hurricane shelters. --- Mike Mooney
HURRICANE PREPARATION FOR RESIDENTS NEEDING ASSISTANCE: Residents with special needs, (oxygen, wheel chairs, etc.) should call Sarasota County Emergency Management Services (951-5283) and register using the form they send. In the event of a hurricane or other evacuation order, those who have registered will be taken care of first. --- Mike Mooney
