THOUGHTS:   As I sit writing items for the Newsletter on New Year's morning, I look out at a bright, sunny day.   Then I think back to when I was a kid growing up during depression years.   Never in my wildest imagination or dreams did I think I would live in Florida in our "little bit of paradise" (KGC)   It's a wonderful place to live and I feel so fortunate to be here in my "later" adult years!   Today is a good time to reflect on how lucky we all are - weather, friends, activities, and all the things that make up a good life.       ---SJB
