FINAL REMINDER:   Today is SHRED DAY from 10 A.M. - 12 NOON.   The truck will be located on Avenue of Kings, where the Bloodmobile is usually parked.   Each KGC household is allowed up to three letter size boxes of material to be shredded.   This is a wonderful opportunity for us to clear out unwanted, unneeded papers SAFELY.       ---Ruth Ingerick

THANKS:   Lou Johnson passed away peacefully, at home in N.C. on January 8, after enduring 14 years with Parkinson's and ischemic strokes.   I want to express my deepest gratitude for all the cards, hugs and kindness shown to me, when I returned to KGC on February 1st.   It is said that the bridge between life and death is "LOVE" - our KGC family knows how to build bridges.       Thank you so much, Lydia Johnson

GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN FOR THE KGC WEB SITE:   It's helpful to look at the online photos when you forget someone's name.   Come to the Activities Room at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 17, to have your picture taken.   Wren McMains has the camera and lights to make you look terrific. Look at the Picture Book at: http://www.kgc.cc/membersonly/picname.shtml   Wren took the photos with the solid blue background at a Welcome party.   If you don't know the User ID and Password to enter the Members Only area, a member of the computer club or the KGC office can help you.   If you don't like your current photo, come have a new one taken.   Tell your friends and neighbors about this photo opportunity.   It would be great if everyone's picture was available.       ---Sandy McIntyre

GUIDE DOGS: E-mail from Leigh Anne Novak, Puppy Raiser for Duchess; surgery on 3/11 went very well, and vet expects complete recovery.   This will set back her training, as Duchess will be shut down from much of any normal activity for six weeks. Also, as Duchess is shut down, Leigh Anne decided that she would have her foot surgery next week. She figures if Duchess is out of action, then she might as well do her surgery now rather than later. Both are expected to be at KGC on April 11, as well as Lorraine, and the last visit for Baron before returning to the kennel at SEGD for finish training. We appreciate your support.       ---Jackie and Nip Barker
