HEALTHLINE: On Monday, 9/28, Irene Bette visited the four, King's Gate ladies who are now in Manor Care. Gigi Conway and Alice Higgins, in the "King's Gate Wing at Manor Care", send thanks to everyone for all the prayers, cards, flowers and goodies given them, while they are recuperating after shoulder surgery. They are slowly 'getting there', and all your thoughts & prayers are appreciated! They are very happy to be in the same room. Their love to all!!
Jean Davis and Hilda Krzczuk, who are also still in Manor Care, send their thanks for all the cards and prayers from neighbors and friends at King's Gate.
Marge Havey fell on Friday afternoon (9/25) at a gas station. She has a badly sprained forearm and required stitches in her upper lip. Prayers and telephone calls would be appreciated. ---Irene Bette
JETTY PICNIC: The first jetty picnic of the season will be held on Thursday, October 8th at the North Jetty. Everyone welcome. Social hour from 4-5 PM; dinner at 5 PM. Good time to hear about everyone's summer. Bring a dish for ten people and your place settings. ---Claire Becker
NOTICES FROM THE KGC OFFICE:
The fall/winter mowing schedule has begun. Nanaks' mowed on Thursday, 10/1. They will skip Thursday, 10/8 and then will mow every other Thursday until spring.
Reminder to the Residents: Please do not put any grass, weeds, or any other vegetation into the lake. These can plug up the bubblers and damage the motors and impellers.
---Charles Clotfelter, KGC General Manager
