CONDOLENCES:   Our deepest sympathy to Jeanne Canfield and her family on the death of her husband and their father, John Canfield (115 Camelot Dr.).   John was very active in King's Gate.   He was 'Santa Claus' for a number of years and he sang with the King's Gate Chorus in Nokomis when Dr. Ketch Morrell was Director, and he participated in many other activities.   They will be missed.   Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Northwest United Methodist Church, 5200 Riverside Drive, Columbus, OH 43214  or to Home Ranch Hospice (Kobacker House) 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43214  or to Singing Buckeyes' Harmony Camp, 3158 Kingsdale Center, Columbus, OH 43221 in his memory.   Please visit * www.schoedinger.com * to send condolences to the family.

CONDOLENCES:   Jim Aldridge, 296 Camelot Drive, passed away last Sunday, May 27, in Minnesota.   He is survived by his wife, Gwen, his daughter and two grandchildren.   Jim and Gwen are long-time residents of the Club, having moved there in November, 1982.   Prior to that, they were owners in the RV Park.   Jim took part in many activities at the Club, including the Fair and Music Appreciation.   He played tennis with the KGC group for many years, and was an avid golfer and biker.   Jim's vibrant personality will be missed.   Prayers will be appreciated.   Cards may be sent to Gwen at their northern address (as shown in the KGC Phone Book).

YES, I'M A SENIOR CITIZEN!

I'm the life of the party … even if it lasts until 8 p.m.
I'm very good at opening childproof caps … with a hammer.
I'm usually interested in going home before I get to where I am going.
I'm awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.
I'm smiling all the time because I can't hear a thing you're saying.
I'm very good at telling stories; over and over and over and over …
I'm aware that other people's grandchildren are not nearly as cute as mine.
I'm so cared for … long term care, eye care, private care, dental care.
I'm a walking storeroom of facts … I've just lost the key to the storeroom door.

Yes, I'm a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life!
